I'm confused after writing this but it makes sense to me
There's gotta be a better way of getting DB stats so it would be easier to evaluate. If a DB gives up a one yard comeback catch and Immidiately stuffs the receiver this shouldn't go down as a catch allowed.
But if you accounted all 3 or less yard catches to a different category. (Short catch allowed stuff)
-Run stops as well would be a huge DB number - anything under 2 yards anything over would be tackle and anything from WR covered
80 tackles 43 tackles out of coverage. 13 run stops 37 tackles in coverage 37/80 coverage tac.
-Tackles from coverage would narrow down his tackling ability out of coverage.
- yards gained from catches allowed 30 thrown at- 10 allowed 130 yards 13.0 per catch 5.3 per attempt
Being able to see these same numbers broken down at every position he plays. Mainly for trial of depth chart or more important figuring out the numbers if you use overrides. Help narrow down a players best DB position
A highlight on rookies in league stats ( red font) so when you see them you can remember him from passing on him or from a team snagging him before you. That way you learn the players better as they are rookies and it will carry over later on.
On team page break down first and second half and maybe even 4 th quarter stats for your team . This would maybe help users put in rules at diffent times of the game in situations that might call for it.
Offense total 1st half avg or total: 181 -rush 81 -pass 100
Offense total 2nd half avg or total: 260 - rush 45 - pass 215
Offense total 4 th quarter avg or total: 160 - rush 15 - pass 145
Offensive end totals per game : 441 - rush 126 - pass 315
Total possessions and results of each TD/FG/Punts/Turnovers
Huge fan of awards being added
