I know this has probably been mentioned in the past, but I wanted to bring up my version of practice during the midweek....I apologize if this has been thought of by others....
JDB, what a about not just scouting plays but tabs for practicing plays? You get to run 10 offensive plays and 10 defensive plays from your playbooks against our "scout teams" vs 10 of their plays from the opponents playbook! I think this would be a great feature to go into game planning.
Example - I want to run HB Dive from the 113 set 3x, I want to run it versus their 43u zone, 43N man, and their 43 zone blitz. Just to get a feel of when this play might work the best. We get the results just like a game log. I may want run that play all 10x times maybe 2x versus 5 different defenses. Maybe 5x times just versus 2 different defensive plays. Or I run 10 different plays versus one defensive play to see if I can find the best play against their number one defensive...and you can do the same on defensive for 10 plays.....No boost or anything for doing this, that is where scouting comes in. This would simply be a way to really feel like your at "practice" during the midweek running your team vs team schemes versus the scout defense and getting some feedback. Like if HB dive is getting smash every time against my scout defense I am sure as **** pulling from the playbook against the number 1 run defense. Just something that would as great strategy and flavor to the game. You could add a boost for the more times you practiced a play I guess, but simply practicing would be awesome!
Again, sorry if this has been mentioned before. I know scrimmaging has been mentioned as well, but this might be a happy medium that adds to the game. I love this game, football, and programming so I always want to help to see it develop.
