Positional Chnages

I needed a new PR/KR so I've looked through the FAs and come across a player I like, but he is a CB, I want to convert him to a WR or RB to improve his ball handling attributes, but can't as you can only convert to other D positions, haha even a DT, but ridiculous no?

Would it be possible if we can't convert a D player to O and vice-versa to at least a STs position? I did also want to convert a P to a CB but ..... we all know that Punters are the real athletes on the team.

I've had DBs as my returners many times. Some are even generated with good kick catching, but still have poor avoid fumble / ball carry / etc.

Exactly, which is why converting to a RB/WR helps in their development.

I'd love for there to be the potential for Dion Sanders and Hester type returners. Would either require a dedicated return skill that mattered significantly, or DBs would need to start gening with some offensive skills necessary for return duties.

To me it's a bit silly that players are considered to only be able to function at all on one side of the ball. A guy like JJ Watt could play some TE and has decent hands, in this game no DE can catch at all, no DB can avoid fumbles, no offensive player can tackle. I'm not saying a guy should be great on both sides of the ball but a true 99 overall on one side of the ball is probably talented enough to rate at least a 60 or 70 in some of those offensive skills depending on position.

I think a player getting significant playing time at a position should also help them "learn" some of those skills needed at that position.

It would also be nice if coaches actually "coached" players.

In 0.4.1 a fast LG with bad block makes one **** of a good LDE...in 0.4.x not so much.

As long as your weights are "right", you should be able to move a player from offense to defense with little problem.
