I would love to set a draft-pick price attached to players on the trade block (and, in this case only, circumvent the trade points minimums) and allow other teams to simply "accept" the available price and automatically make a trade.
Often I find I'll have a player that won't make roster for whatever reason but I know will be snatched up on waivers and other players wouldn't mind parting with a late round pick for. This way would speed up the process and probably encourage more trades (and more realism).
I also think it helps make the trade block more efficient in general. Sometimes I'll see a 95/95 LB in his prime on the block, and it can be an arduous process to find out that the owner is theoretically willing to part with him as long as you are willing to deal every first rounder for all of eternity along with your franchise QB. This way, it's easier to find out who you *really* is on the block.
