I see no reason the same options that show you a teams individual player contracts couldn't be applied to the leagues player search section. You can apply ready look up all the ratings, so by adding the other searches that are included on the team page would be the simplest way.
Still, I do all my restructures at the end season stage anyway. So, no one would know who I am going to restructure until FA 1. Unless a team had no wiggle room then that might be a way to see the future......
Personally I would love the whole system to match the NFL's where player actually garner the leagues desired amount for star players and journey men. ( elite players should have agents, so they can test the market before they get locked down at a demished wage) Also, having teams meet the nfl minimum of 90% of the cap used each year might make having a "future FAs list" mandatory .
But right now my teams, which aren't great but competitive , use around 50 to 75% of the cap each year. Only teams that use the ai settings are in cap trouble. Or if you choose not to let old players test the market and guarantee long term deals will do the same to cap space. As well over bidding for FAs.
Our current system is better than before but still I have yet to lose any player over 90 rating. Especially at the year five restructure or before. There too much cap room still and that raises the value of players that hit the market . Which is the real reason a FA 92 rated player will always make more than a 95+ rated retructured player who stays with his original drafted team.
The system is to help with parity but in reality no good team/owner is losing great players and they still have money to sign very good, players.
So much potential with this suggestion and such an easy application right now. You could search the leagues contracts of elite players then click on the team and see there cap room next year. But , its all speculation and seems like a way for the rich to get richer. Considering the games current state.
Still, a great idea if implementation is to create parity .
