This may open a new can of worms on free agency.What if we had restricted free agents every year.Where we could match offers from other teams or get draft picks.Then get compensation if we lose a player in draft picks.Just treat it like our normal free agency spins too match an offer.

In order for that to work you would still need to have offered that player a reasonable contract and he would most likely sign that contract.
