It sucks when a game is severely affected by a defensive PI, unless you're the beneficiary of the call, but it is a part of the RL game that MFN is trying to simulate. Why do we have offense pass interference in MFN?, which also sucks, but is a part of the RL game. Dont most of the offense pass interference calls occur on pick plays?
This is where the discipline attribute comes into play, and just like in RL pro football, there are those who are more prone to PI penalties. Doesnt make any sense to me to have offensive PI w/o defensive PI.
There were 111 offensive PI calls in the NFL 2017 season and 277 defensive PI calls. The team with the most def PI was the Bengals with 18, five more than four teams tied with 13 PI penalties. The team with the least was the Cards with only 4. Pretty large differential btw top and bottom for getting defensive PI.
