One of the problems with attracting new owners to existing leagues is that the AI takes over an orphan team and promptly runs it into the ground. It is for good reason that nobody wants to take charge of an AI mess when they can otherwise start fresh.
One of the obvious ways the AI wrongs prospective owners is to run without a punter. Another way is to sign expensive contracts and thus push itself over the cap. Another way is by drafting badly.
Please make AI smarter. Have it run with kickers, be more mindful of upcoming cap problems, and draft the best available player sometimes instead of being a slave to positions it thinks it needs. Thus you could limit the administrative headaches that come with running new leagues by making the existing leagues more viable.
