Here is my suggestion! When I first played this game I didn't check cap space before I picked a team....I suggest that if a team is in cap **** some sort of warning pops up when you select a team...Letting you know the team your picking is in cap ****!!

I've suggested multiple times that a popup message appears when an owner chooses to "become owner", suggesting that they review the cap/roster/draft pick situation before they confirm they want the team.

If they then decide to take on a team in cap ****, at least they know what they are getting in to.

Seems like an easy thing to implement to me, but I'm not a developer.

Cap **** isn't any worse than taking over a team where all the starters are 15 year vets and you have no draft picks for the next 3 years.

This and showing cap implications of a trade are both items I feel would help solve a lot of this and hopefully will get to soon. A couple bigger fish on the frying pan now but they are very close to getting done and I hope to get to some of these smaller nagging items.

Ok i may be weird, but i enjoy cap ****. At the moment am controlling five teams, most of which had/have serious cap problems, which, i guess, is why i'm controlling them.

The only suggestion i would make is to add another number to a team's info page, which shows how much cap room they have including the amount that would be required to resign all its players in the last year of their contracts (as though one had brought up the renegotiation wizard and checked all the players with 1-yr left).

i didn't realize how big a hole i had jumped into when i took over one team and found it was 60+M short of being able to re-sign everybody. It is, however, an enjoyable challenge. i like fixing things and getting them moving in a positive direction. 'Winning' is, while not unpleasant, less rewarding for me.

Nobody should ever use the renegotiation wizard.

Unless you are trying to put yourself into cap ****.

Totally agree. Just suggesting a quick method of determining how big of a hole one has to bail oneself out of - which really there is no indication of when a player takes over a team that has 30 or so players with 1 year contracts and little or no cap room.

You're need to take over my custom 12 team then;)
