We take on an injured TE for a backup TE of equal value (we have a better TE starting ahead of Albers), grab a 3rd WR we were missing for a C who had started for us but was about to be a backup, and gain some filler. Hadn't even considered something like this, but the 3rd WR is more important than the backup C, and Chicago gets an uninjured starting TE for the beginning of the season.

The players should be healthy to start the season. Normally injuries, unless 10 weeks for example, don't carry over at all.
This is a trade that helps both teams.
