Based on the contract I gave previously I'm willing to wager it just happened. Not f***ing cool.
It can jack me up unfairly towards the end with the $$$ bonus hit at retirement.
What happened here is a parity adjustment. Kennedy got squeezed out of a year to balance my team back into line/to the pack.

Man, you can't speed plummet at age 30 and then vary when players hit it and/or literally go in to wire the player to hit it early. My man, the cheater.
