2020 season

Terrible so far for us. We made illusion against NO but Philadelphia showed us our true colors. We're real bad.
Sill a fun story : I had a 2nd FB. After the first game, I needed a roster spot and I reasoned that Perry (my starting FB) had never been injured last season so I cut the backup. Guess who's injured for 7 weeks?

That always seems to happen whenever you are short staffed in a position group;)
Don't get to discouraged about losing to a elite team... almost everyone does it.

Philly is always tough so no shame losing to them. They can kill anyone if they are on their game. Sorry about your FB, that was a tough break.

Great Game PIT. Maybe the closest game I've seen.

Wow. That hurts.

My defense played great. Held Dallas to 128 yards of offense and 4 FGs.

Unfortunately my special teams gave up 3 KR TDs and I lost 34-24.

We are on pace to have at least four 6,000 yard passers... The passing game needs to be revisited.

My thoughts:

1. Increase effectiveness of pass rush.
2. Some sort of rating that impacts a QBs ability to throw accurately under pressure.
3. Ensure break tackle and tackle ability ratings actually matter.

Also, I think we're always going to have passing numbers that don't resemble real life for a lot of teams.

1. A lot of teams are thowing the ball more than in the NFL.
2. A much higher percentage of those throws are deep. Why not throw deep every play? You only need to connect on 1 out of 3. (not my strategy by the way)
3. There are a lot of open receivers due to poor defense (probably a bad play call). I'm sure there are times I've given up a long pass because I was in the wrong defensive play due to bad gameplanning. Or playing man when I should be playing zone because my DBs stink. This probably doesn't happen as often in the NFL.

GG Houston (coachgdub)

That was one helluva last 8:50 of the game trading scores back and forth. I think i just got lucky to have the ball last, could easily have gone either way

GG Detroit
your running back is awesome.
The amount of d linemen running through the qb is making defense painful to watch.

Thanks! Yes, Dorch is my only satisfaction with this team. If only he wasn't injured every other week...
