3 Franchise QB's and none taken till #5, I was stunned. Thhe top 2 picks were awesome players but to pass on a QB was surprising.
Mid-way through the first, two picks really stand out to me. SD getting a franchise QB with the 11th pick and WR Howard to Oakland at 14
Howard is the steal of the draft. I looked for him to go in the top 5 or 6 and yet, that wasn't the case. This is a great draft but Howard is a HoF type so hopefully those taken ahead of him will be also.

I was fired up too when we got our franchise QB at #11!

I wanted to move up to get one but I couldnt even come close to something that I was willing to give up just to send an offer. Would just have cost me to many 1st round picks to move up.

I needed lineman and didn't get on in time to notice a QB was still available - kicking myself because I just figured he'd be gone by then

Back-to-back gems for Philly late in the 1st round...wow!
This is an awesome 1st round, just some wonderful talent available. The toughest league in MFN just got tougher!!

Oakland got 2 first round WR's.
I'm happy with my WR at 15 too.

The guy I had earmarked at #20 fell all the way to me on the last pick of the 1st.

We lost a 97/97 WR to retirement in only his 9th season so it was a shocker!! I was afraid we wouldn't be able to replace him. Stoughton is not as good as the guy we lost but is still outstanding to get that late.

Seems like every team rocked in the 1st. Best 1st round I've ever seen in MFN...incredible!!

I was gonna pick Stoughton with the 31st pick and changed my pick with 0:00 seconds on the clock.....then immediately regretted it.....I dunno why I did it, the LDE I got has very poor tackling and may not pan out well at all.

I'm crossing my fingers for training camp.

The DE looks good to me. He is obviously a pass rusher, but he looks really good in that regard. I'm glad you changed though...
