So with these two trades, Chicago gets to move up about 20-25 spots in a round 1, three round 2s and a round 3 for a measly round 3, 4 and 5 pick three drafts from now. On the face of it, I would call this moderately unfair. But being a free market kind of guy, I am not bitchin' that Chicago was able to take advantage of Pittsburgh like this. I'm just jealous that I couldn't have made these deals for my team!

pitts and chicago are rubbing our noses in it...we complain about the first one... so they do it again....i propose a solution...each team would be given one veto per year which would void all trades between two designated teams for that year... ...for example...all trades between pitts and chicago would be voided for this year if i used my veto

Those two trades should be voided. A whole lot of stink surrounding them.

I've seen KOB send similar trades taking advantage of newer or less experienced owners. Good move for him, bad for the other owner and people that end up playing against him.

Bling sent me a message upset over my post about his trade with Pittsburgh. In his message he made the claim that the trade arrow was in the favor of Pittsburgh. I doubted this so I did a test. Using Cleveland which is in the same division and only a tad better [record wise] I did a trade setup with a top tier team on the level of Chicago. In BOTH trades the arrow was far in the favor of the other team. So unless the owner of Pittsburg [ war152]can post on here a reasonable explanation on why he made this trade. I will ask that the two trades made between Chicago and Pittsburgh be rescinded.

Bling sent me a similar private message and made the same invalid claim about his Pitts trades....I also request that the Pitts-Chicago trades be voided....

There are trade rules in place. Owners have to be in the league 30 days prior to any trading, and the scale precludes trades deemed too lopsided. When building a roster of a poor team, quantity over quality is a great way to jump start your team. Getting a foundation in place and then refining builds long-term success. With lots of holes, this is a much quicker way to strengthen a roster. How brazen of you to demand an explanation of a legal and permitted trade. You are not owed anything! What a couple of sour grapes!

I've done more than my share of trading and the slider for indicating fairness is a joke. Fairness is in the eye of the two trading parties. I've tried to do some fair trades and the slider isn't near either end of the scale and got the error message about the trade being too unfair.
And while I do think these two trades are hugely in favor of Chicago, I would not want to try to void them. It's a free market system and anyone who wants to void these trades is just jealous that they weren't able to do something similar.
