Some serious talent in this one. I am glad we have multiple picks as you never know what a future draft may hold.
We got a RB we hope will be another Walter Payton and gave him #34...no pressure there! Should be fun to see how this draft shakes out... |

Pick #4 was a letdown for LA, desperately needed a difference maker at the DE position and he went at #3, so the best I can hope for is the LB I took and converted to Safety works out. On the bright side I was already good at HB so them going #1 and #2 wasn't as big a deal to me.

Our team had so many holes. However, with 4 picks in the 1st, we knew we'd improve in a big way. We got 2 outstanding play makers on the outside, a stellar FS to anchor our secondary, and a nice DE to help shore up our D-line.
A great 1st day for the New York football Giants!!

I spent a lot to get Clothier, but at least he showed up to the draft well dressed. (Ba dum ching...thank you folks, I'll be here all night.)
A bigger win for my team may be picking up Robert Franklin in a draft eve trade. I know that trade is going to raise a few eyebrows, but I've had similar QBs do very well in other leagues. |

LA gets a boarder line first round talent tackle in Raymond Lu to help an offensive line in desperate need of some actual talent and 2 RBs that could develop into studs in the 2nd round. Pretty good 2nd day of the draft for LA if these guys work out. With any luck I'll end up with 3 good options at HB which would be a large improvement over counting on just one guy to carry the load in the running game.

Made a move for more late round picks and grabbed
the best available CB
with the last pick of the second round. Marshall may be a reach, but if he busts at DB, he can move to WLB because of his 94 tackling ability. Giving up Emory hurt, but Duran, Marshall, and the future first round pick may make this a win.

Rotor wrote: A strength 10 wlb? Yes, a WLB with a Strength of 10. Strength only applies for LBs in blocking scenarios, and even then, it only determines which way a player gets pushed. Since OL can rarely engage a WLB moving full speed toward a RB, strength is rarely a factor for WLBs. Strength is somewhat more important for SLB or MLB that are more likely to engage a TE or OL, but it's still not that important if the LB is fast, has good run defense, and can tackle. Marshall has average speed and tackles well with good potential in run defense. |

Happy to oblige. I was concerned 6+ ypc wasn't good enough for my running game.
