How is a third round pick not compensation?

sorry, I should have said "without serious compensation"
in 2 seasons? And it must also cover 3 2021 low picks? But then I value future picks much less than most people. The more so in a game where owners change each season and you have absolutely no visibility on the level of a team in 2 seasons. "Its the Raiders, it should be high picks" doesn't work here :)

Seems fine to me.

I never even take round 6 or 7 picks into consideration when evaluating a trade. So to me, it just looks like he's moving down about 9 spots and picking up a future 3rd.

There are so few "star" players in these drafts that there's not much difference between 1.28 and 2.5 anyway, maybe none depending on how the draft falls.

I probably would have taken that deal too.

The guys I am looking at should still be there 9 picks later, so why not move back and pick up a future pick. It's a classic real life Patriots move. (I hate the Patriots.)
