2014 Draft

Nice move, CHI. I saw you took a TE at #1 and was, like, "he traded for that?" but he made a great switch to RB.

I wasn't going to take a QB in the first round but couldn't pass up Trimble with Gray being in his 10th year and no heir apparent. Hopefully he'll develop to his potential and give us a good transition in a few years.

Yeah I think that trade worked out for both teams. Moving players could be dicey and Tampa getting a solid RB and a future pick worked for them, and obviously gambling on Crum worked out for Chicago. A truly win-win trade!

It will be interesting to see how a 6'5" 250lb "running back" does. Can't imagine to many cb's wanting to take that on, but the DT's should sure see him coming.

I was happy with the trade. I read somewhere that the further away from each other the current and future are, the more likely he is not to reach his future. The guy I got from Chicago is not much different ratings wise. Plus, he is more developed. And I got a late first rounder, probably, next year. So it's hard to feel bad about the deal for us also.

I rate Miller 72/91 and Crum 35/93, and they are only one year apart. Miller is in his second season, and Crum is a rookie. The funny thing is, the game said Chicago was getting the better deal almost to the point of not allowing it.

I inherited a very good, young team, so don't have a lot of big needs. Don't know how this team ended up with the 3rd pick in the draft but I am not complaining.

We filled what I thought was our biggest need at LT with Gary Groves at 1.3. We got a really good backup DE in the 2nd with Shaw. From the 3rd on, we are looking for BPA roster fillers and hoping for a boom or three :)

At 3.1 we are going to take RT George, and move him to LT to backup Groves. Not sure who we will take at 3.3.
