As Denver continues to rebuild, we are running into some salary cap issues over the next two seasons. So, we're hoping to back out of the upcoming draft for some future capital. On the block now are:
Pick 1-30: For any future first
or two future 2nds.
Pick 2-5: For a future 2nd and two future 3rds.
Pick 2-16: For one future 2nd and a future 3rd
Pick 2-30: For one future 2nd
or two future 3rds
And so on. I'm okay with getting out of this draft entirely, if it helps save money and build for a 2050 superbowl run.
We're going to develop our young players, pick up some minimum salary role players and hope that gameplanning will make up for the lack in talent. Hoping to turn this 4 win team into an 8-8 squad within the next two years.
