Thanos, you're razor thin close to me. I seen where you were hyped as being elite everywhere. (which is true) I had a slightly hindered Bailey (95 speed play maker alongside Gaines) and that slight scenario almost made it impossible for me to generation offense and/or win the game. Fierce, tough game and now Title Game #2 arrives with Wart. You and I were Title Game #1 for these playoffs.

To clarify: Big play, break away offense - we were contained all game.

Hey Wart. You don't have to worry about game planning for me. Give jabillups league admin status and I can be thrown out of here, too....for no reason/no rules broken. :P

Thank you, Thanos. I only had 1 and it was late - 4th Quarter. Looked again and I was shut out first half. You did a great job of containment. I get booted from leagues peeps mad I advance timelines and don't job out in an NCAA no trade format. They wanted me to go 0-16 and feel good since my roster was a barren one. When I went twin 14-2's I get bounced on my use of speed. Misconception about me. I can win any which way. Took 1 in Beta recently (won the title) and in XFL with no 4th Downs or 2 Point attempts for the season - basically - while reliant on defense....(3 seasons back, got f'd in the title game vs. AI last season - but been kicking same strat in XFL for awhile)

But they feel good now. Can't beat him, bounce him. Bounce with me.... lol :)

Yeah, Smirt, I'm on vacation, so I didn't see the whole game. I watched the beginning and the 4th quarter, so I assumed big plays did me in. :)

Anyway, I think. that's the second straight season where I won in the regular season and you won in the playoffs.

Let's hope the schedule gods are on my side next season, so I can actually surprise you in some way. Though based on your gameplanning, that's most likely hard to do in any scenario. :)

Epic game there Smirt. Again, we dominated the stats, but the **** blocked punts and turning the ball over in the red zone killed us. That was fun to watch. Good luck in the title game.

Guess I need to pay more attention to my special teams lineups. Sanderson got his concussion last week blocking on an XP and then an injury to another O-lineman caused Reid to move in to the LT position on punts this week and that didn't turn out too well (All three punts were blocked, ugh.)

Guess the other lesson is to just go for it on all fourth downs.

Next time we get to a Conference Final I'll pull the punt blocking and take one on the chin. (leave myself open to lose, not being fully protected) I've always been on record as saying the lame 9 straight titles of Bryson and Lellow = no good. 2 in a row with a 3 stoppage or 3 titles in a row at the most so everyone wins/has a chance. Your game planning is elite, bro. You fight hard as f***.

Sorry about my game planning. It got angrier and angrier every time I lost a title game to an AI (rare but just happened in XFL) or got nerfed a million times on 16-0 seasons and didn't get the title when I let up 100 points or less on the season or someone popping off at me on a board. lol

Congrats Smirt. It was a game for the first half. Then everything that could go wrong, did go wrong in the second half. No punts were blocked in the first half, two punts were blocked in the second half. And my defense had been very good and then you completed those two bombs for touchdowns in the second half. You had the better team and won.

I was up against a brick wall. My title game win % is like 24%. It plays completely differently than other games. I thought you were going to win. I was hitting a brick wall of penalties, failed 4th downs, turnovers and other things over and over. I thought it might nerf for the whole game or put me behind to where when I try to cycle my passes I wouldn't be able to overcome it. Looked like a loss brewing but somehow I finally burst through the brick wall. You had a great season!
