Doesnt make sense to me either, 23 players with possibility of retiring and trading away draft picks. Good luck with building that franchise

We should start handling this like trades in the real world are dealt with... media ridicule and staff firings. Denver got hosed and really should start a desperate PR campaign to justify and keep their jobs.

I wouldnt even make a trade like that if it was offered to me, I would actually send a message back saying why it isnt a good trade but thats just me

Feel free to offer a high pick for any of my guys with a 50% chance of retiring. It's a BS trade

Just to be clear, Denver offered this trade to me and I accepted it. Was I supposed to turn it down???

I can't speak for anyone else, but that's not what I was saying.

Someone could certainly make the argument that good sportsmanship might dictate advising the other gm that this seems like a somewhat lopsided trade. However I think most competitive GMs would jump on that type of trade if offered (or even negotiated up). I would.
