Yeah, I just trade one first rounder to NY for higher rated and younger player.

My goodness, If ANYBODY is interested Cleveland Browns QB Stills 77/77 or Marshall 76/76 are available for three first round picks. Both QB’S have a far better track record then Smallwood.

Stills or Marshall are nowhere as good as Smallwood and the QB Miami got is not as good either.

Smallwood is a 2nd yr star in the making. I have so many needs. KC got a young franchise QB who is going to be outstanding

We could debate the Smallwood vs. Kidder comment, but at this point there is absolutely no evidence that Smallwood is better. Kidder is slightly better in all stats thus far. But even if you want to say Smallwood is better, that's fine. There is no way in **** he is worth two first round picks and Kidder was only worth one.

Stills is at the end of his career but I could make an argument for still starting him. Smallwood is nothing but a backup, Marshall has a track record as a starter [ five years at least as a productive player] and I would take him over Smallwood any day and twice on Sunday. Great deal for you but 2 first for Smallwood is WAY overpaying. In short, Stills or Marshall could have filled the void at a far cheaper cost. No biggie, but the trade market values just went up [add in the Chicago/Pittsburgh trades if anyone is paying attention. Cleveland has players to trade but I doubt anyone would pay the price at this point based on these trades this season. Why would ANY GM trade away talent for picks without demanding at least 2 first round picks in return at this point? Two first round picks seems to be the market price for second tier talent. Which now begs the question, what is a legit top tier player worth?

Smallwood rates as an 85 future overall for me. He's a solid player but I wouldn't consider him to be anything special as far as QBs are concerned. I've gotten similar talent in the 3rd round of some drafts. I certainly don't fault you for making the deal though, I was just a little surprised that anyone would give up 2 first rounders for a QB that I would consider league average.

What is the matter IHP3 don’t like the fact about your trade being talked about? You got two first round picks for a avg QB, take it as a compliment. Your ‘future star” has a rating of 76/83, has 5 starts over two seasons with 58.99 rating 3TD and 6 INT with 19 sacks in those 5 games. Looks more like a budding Mark Sanchez then a Joe Montana. Simple fact is it will interesting to see going forward how many GM’S are paying attention and IF the future market value of players of Smallwood ratings mean GM’s better be getting a minimum of 2 first round picks. Add in the Chicago/Pittsburgh trade then 3 first round picks is really the current market. But, as PT Barnum once said there is a sucker born…
