I was stunned when I saw the upset this morning. This season has been a challenge, taking over a team at the end of preseason and trying to massively overhaul an ancient and overpaid roster. (More cap challenges to come. With serious dead cap weight already in the books, I have guys wasting roster spots so I can spread the cap hit next year.)
Fun fact: When I was struggling with my passing game late in the season, I actually began dissecting Baltimore's playbook and playcalling to see how you were able to put up some incredible numbers. Your success with the 2 RB 2 TE set is especially impressive. I've had limited success incorporating your tendencies in multiple leagues, but when I stumbled my way into this matchup, I realized the exhaustive studying of your offense had left me in a unique position to deploy some sophisticated rules against you.
Ultimately, I got lucky, though -- my passing game remains largely ineffective, and as you noted, my defense benefited from JDB's hilariously flawed code. If you follow some of the threads on the main board, you know the QB picks a targeted receiver at random and won't look at anyone else. If the dice roll on those plays had called for your QB to look at the wide open guy instead of throwing INTs, this would have been a much different game.
