Good Game Indy. Your defense completely owned my quarterback. He had a passer rating of 18 and was sacked 7 times. We're never gonna win a game that way. I thought we might of been able to pull it out before that terrible decision to throw the 3rd interception by our own goal, down by six late in the 4th quarter.

Good luck in the Super Bowl.

(Crazy, I just noticed that all 3 interceptions were from the same defensive play. Which leaves the 3rd receiver uncovered! He was wide open on all three interceptions too, but my QB decided to throw into tight coverage instead of to the open guy. I tried to check his play knowledge, but the play doesn't show up on the "def plays" area.)

I was stunned when I saw the upset this morning. This season has been a challenge, taking over a team at the end of preseason and trying to massively overhaul an ancient and overpaid roster. (More cap challenges to come. With serious dead cap weight already in the books, I have guys wasting roster spots so I can spread the cap hit next year.)

Fun fact: When I was struggling with my passing game late in the season, I actually began dissecting Baltimore's playbook and playcalling to see how you were able to put up some incredible numbers. Your success with the 2 RB 2 TE set is especially impressive. I've had limited success incorporating your tendencies in multiple leagues, but when I stumbled my way into this matchup, I realized the exhaustive studying of your offense had left me in a unique position to deploy some sophisticated rules against you.

Ultimately, I got lucky, though -- my passing game remains largely ineffective, and as you noted, my defense benefited from JDB's hilariously flawed code. If you follow some of the threads on the main board, you know the QB picks a targeted receiver at random and won't look at anyone else. If the dice roll on those plays had called for your QB to look at the wide open guy instead of throwing INTs, this would have been a much different game.

Yeah the rebuild in LA is still a work in progress as well, I have a TON of guys that are going to be free agents. The problem is that none of those guys are any good so I'm not even sure I want to re-sign them.

With you, me, blackflys and setherick joining the league, rebuilding could get a little more interesting. This league's practically as tough as mfn19 now.

I shouldn't be in this group. I have a complete dumpster fire here in Seattle to put out before I can even figure out what's left in the ashes.

Lucky or not, it's definitely a win to be proud of. We all play this game knowing its flaws and you gotta deal with them win or lose. It doesn't take anything away from your victory at all. You put together a talented team and it should be a good Super Bowl. Good Luck to both teams.

Sorry I didn't congratulate you sooner Carolina. Nice win!

I had to leave town on an unexpected emergency Thursday morning and just got back. I didn't have a chance to game plan and I see you guys smoked us. Not an excuse though, as it seems clear from the results, I doubt any game plan would have made a difference anyway.

Well played and you were clearly the better team that day. Wishing you the best in the Championship and props to you for a great season :-)
