So this might just be my weights skewing this trade, but someone needs to tell me why Thomas (74 potential by my weights) is worth these picks. Buffalo is now in the running for the Pittsburgh Worst Trade of the Year award.

Still not worth a 2, 3, 4.

I'm sure the trade police will arrive on the scene soon enough to ***** and moan incessantly

I don't think it's quite that bad, but it definitely confuses my pre-coffee brain. He's solid in all attributes except the one that really matters for LBs: Tackling

If that one was >90, I would completely understand this trade.

I'm not a huge fan of it for Buffalo, but I don't think it's quite as bad as setherick does.

To much focus on what everybody sees and that's a solid lb for three pics which could produce 3 solid lbs. I'm pretty sure Buffalo is gonna make a run for it. So realistically it's bad on paper . More times then not when dudes rip trades there almost dead wrong high percentage.anytime you add value to the now it makes these type trades worth it. And it's not gonna get any love from AFC teams.

Adding the "now" factor is a good point. It's a risky factor that only pays off if you win a championship, though.

I'm just thinking about ways I can get my TE matched one-on-one with this guy.

I don't mind over-trading picks for a player that will help you win now. If I thought that the player in question here would help a team win now, I wouldn't have ever posted. I don't see how this player will singlehandedly make a difference in a game. Ever. Period.

Except letting Indy throw all over the place to the TE...
