I don't know about every yearas that would be a hassle. However it would be nice to know what the cap is...it is not clear and that should not be a mystery as part of our job, so to speak, is to budget accordingly with the cap

I have never followed what the cap is for coaches or been forced to stay under it. I always will get messages that hiring the coach puts me over it but I am still able to sign him, however I have never before had to pay outrageous contracts like it is in this league.
