That's a lot to give up for a future 2 and the first overall pick.

I guess a 95 3rd year 1st round DT , and a 84 3rd year WR who has went up to mid 80s with two 1000 yard years is not worth mentioning in the evaluation.

Reasons for Miami to make this trade...
Chance to get a DB who looks like the only one in the whole draft who could be above 95

Mellor lacks speed but has not lacked production and could have even better numbers if he wasn't a 3rd WR

Clay - despite the low amount of tackles plugged the middle as good as any DT I've ever had on any team and had an impact statistics don't show.

Reasons not to- 2 real young already proven first rounders and a solid corner who could put up better numbers as a Saftey if haven the chance.

My overall evaluation: depends on the outcome of training camp and how the DB Miami will take does. If he becomes a 95+ then this would be a great trade for Miami considering they will end up with a WR with one of there 1st round pics. Which would put Mellor at #2 and

Caroline's thoughts: we have a mountain to climb, whether it's the division who continues to get better or the Bears,, and or the Seahawks , Cowboys , Rams who will also be getting better. All that said we need to get better and look at our future at the same time and this makes sense.

To the league and owners ...Good luck in the draft . And send offers if anyone wants to move down to the 4th pick in the 2nd round

The really surprising thing here is that Miami used the first overall pick on a WR. Imo WRs aren't as valuable as other positions.

Miami maybe got a microscopic upgrade at WR, gave up a superstar LB that is only in his 2nd season, a #1 CB and a really high 2nd rd pick. For an unknown future #2 and the top pick.

Clay aptly named as he is slower than a sun dial. The WR got production due to the system as his skills are clearly limited. In addition, even if the top pick works out, he pales in comparison to the three stars he gave up.

I think this is the type of trade that borders molestation. Sucks for the rest of us as Carolina shot up into the stratosphere on this assault!

I think a average team like yourself would have something to say about this trade. But calling it unfair is one thing and calling anything else is another. I drafted that DT in the first rd when I took this team over and he has been a beast. Mellor is also proven he's worthy and the pics swap could be the diffence between a bust and a star. But ya we started out with nothing on this team and have built it thru drafted players who aren't even all that good and have had much success. More then the Giants can say about there rebuild. So take notes or f**k of.. Loud mouth need to worry about your draft ... I would be.

By the way we made the bowl with 7 defensive starting rookies and were up 38-0 at half and blew that lead to make it again and our roster was built not given to us. Also my roster isn't as good as yours. Aren't your the one who just ripped punisher for stupid comments.
