You get down on owners who dedicate and have good intentions . Talk is all I've ever seen you do. You get on punisher for the same type stuff your doing right now. Funny cause your winning percentages are similar .

I don't see punisher as much as a GM as I do performance artist anymore. I mean who else would think to call the goal line attack 3 70 times in one game?

I thought IHP was the one who ripped punisher in lg 75. Guess not .
Hate on .. Add you to the list. Must of been week 14 and us preventing your playoff hopes. I'd rather Sethrick disagree with our trading . then have an 8-8 team with as much talent call us rich . Whatever you do just don't call us broke

My side of the trade...
Dennis got toasted a lot. Not impressed with his actual play.
Khan was not in the top 40 in receptions or yards. It may be more a function of my offense, but he has not been a Pro Bowler by any stretch of the imagination.
And while I think Telford is great, I am not sold on the value of great LBs in this game. Take a look and the top 40 leaders in tackles last season. Know how many were LBs? 2. The other 38 were all DBs.

In essence, I traded Khan for Blackwell. Very similar ratings, but Khan has shown nothing and Blackwell is two years younger.

As I said, not sold on LBs (I mean I had three with over 90 ratings and my defense was horrible), so I traded for a DT who I think can make more of an impact.

Decided Dennis was expendable and Mellor is an upgrade at my #2 WR.

As for the draft picks included, I was already going to have 4 of the first 7 picks. And I had the 2-5 pick this year. So I thought it made sense to move one of these picks back to another draft. And the second round pick of TEN could be a top of the second rounder. (No offense TEN.) So I thought it was advantageous to get a hopefully high pick in a future draft since I had plenty of high picks in this one.

Bottom line is I am still trying to understand the gameplanning side of this game so I am trying to keep my team as young as possible while I figure it out.

FWIW, the ratings actually favored my team in this trade. Gave up 6390 (Telford 2470, Khan 2340, Dennis 1040 (proves how much he really sucks) and the pick 540) for 6448 (Clay 2340, Mellor 666, the 1-1 pick 3000 and the 2030 2 was 442). Carolina's 2-4 pick turned out to have 530 value, just below what the pick was valued at and Blackwell is at 2600, below the 3000 the pick was valued at.

Wow it's almost like he knows what he taking about. It's not gonna be long before Miami becomes a threat in this league. Owners seem to do better when they focus on there team and make the moves that make sense to them. I forgot what IHP said about this, and he could of been right but he does what everybody who evaluates trades do. (FORGETS TO CHECK STATS) Now next year if Blackwell has 1800 yards I wonder if he will backtrack and admit he jumped the gun on evaluating.

It was a good day for both Miami and Carolina as they both added the most young talent so far this off season. I like your style Warthog . Since you are in the AFC I'll be throwing you some gameplan and scouting reports.

To each his own, but I love the three players Carolina got and they are cheap with the CB and WLB signed for 3 seasons and the WR a whopping 6!!!

For a team trying to get younger, not sure how trading a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th year player accomplishes that?? One extra pick for a 5th yr guy, not a huge trade off and the stud CB is the 5th yr player?

IMO a sweet trade for Carolina. Combine that with the other moves and the Panthers really amped up their roster.

One other point I'd like to make...
Flores was the player I wanted. I had some confidence that Carolina would have taken him #1 overall. I had to improve my safeties. If I stayed at two, Flores could have been gone. Since it didn't really matter which order I picked them, I took Blackwell and Flores. But the reality is I viewed Flores as most top priority. If I didn't get him, then I would really be reaching to pick another DB at 2 or 5. So this trade allowed me to get the player I wanted and basically switch a top LB for a top DT. Yes, Carolina got some **** fine players, but I was also able to re-shape my roster to better fit what I think is most important in this game.

I actually agreed with this trade. *shockface*

Here's how I see this trade breaking down:

Khan + 2.4 vs Clay + 1.1
Dennis + Telford vs Mellow + 2nd

The first step of this trade makes perfect sense. You have a top WR and a top DT in the trade. And Miami gets to move up to the 1.1. I would do this deal it makes perfect sense.

The part of this trade that has everyone pissy is the inclusion of Telford in this trade. Personally, who cares? There is no difference between a WLB that is rated 65 and one that is rated 95. None. LBs are the most worthless position in the entire game. They play out of position and don't tackle well.

You will get the same production out of a LB that has 75 SP, 100 tackle, and 90 punish as you get out of Telford. If you want Telford as a pass rusher, get a Lb with 75 SP, 100 tackle, and 90 pass rush. But if you want some eye candy that won't play up to his numbers Telford the man.

I see Dennis and Telford as two 3rd round talents being traded for a 2nd round pick and some incentive.

So you rip me in 4 comments, fire an F-bomb and other insults because you mistook me for someone else and your conclusion is "Hate on"?
Unbelievable! Way to man up to your mistake and handle it with zero class and accountability. Maybe you should consider why you have a list...

that is so typical that you would share your gameplan and scouting reports with him yet there probably been times you could have shared those things with someone else especially if they had to play a certain person in game and maybe with that knowledge they would have won instead of getting slaughtered .

But all seriousness could you like keep me out of your RANTS with other people because I get really tired of people dragging me thru the mud when they get in a argument with someone else??

I just think if you want to go on the ATTACK on people you really shouldn't bring others into it by name dropping because that stuff just sucks.

Basically in other words what starts with you basically ends with you and only YOU involved in the altercation .

thanks
