System in place to stop someone from cutting everyone

Reason i am posting this is this

basically that team has 0 players because someone cut everyone and has 2 coaches rated 6 at head coach and Defensive cooridantor.


so i think there should be a system in place where someone cant cut everyone regardless of the circumstances.


or have a CAP like you have to have at least 46 players so **** thing is not mess like that team is that i linked.

Let's discuss what might be a good system to install. How low should the system allow you to cut your roster to? Should it prevent any cuts taking your team below the minimum roster (46)? Are there occasions where that would be problematic for legit uses?

i think to 46 should be the lowest it goes because i would think if you had fewer it would stop league from spinning.

I would personally say 35-40 would be a good cut off point. That way if any owners get into cap trouble they'll have leeway to cut players while at the same preventing someone from completely cutting the entire team. I would also allow the AI to cut as many players as needed to get under the cap but only allow a manual owner to cut down the rosters down to 35-40.

Yes, this would be a restriction for a human user only.

I've been as low as 30 players in pre-season and not trying to sabotage my team.

Any way to make the minimum during game weeks only so it doesn't affect us during FA periods?

Obviously if you have players retire to take you below the minimum the AI wouldn't fill your roster, this limitation would only apply to cutting players. With that in mind, do you cut down to 30 players or does your roster go down to 30 due to retirements/contract expiration? If you are cutting down to 30, especially during the free agency stages, I'm curious to know if you would still be able to accomplish your goals without being able to cut that low.

Recently I let contracts expire down to 34 players in a slight rebuild. In a competitive leagues the damage may be done after 5 guys released . Even one sometimes. If they could be simply reversible the presense of that would help prevent action and ease stress on active league administration .

In my case it was guys I got rid of, and guys I didn't think were worth re-signing.
